 I was born in Seattle Wa. and have lived here most of my life.  I currently live in Seattle with my lovely and infinitely patient wife Linda and our many dogs and cats (most of them rescued.)  I work full-time as a knife and sword maker in a workshop attatched to my home.

I was for many years an active participant in the SCA and have been studying Historic European Martial Arts for many years now, including Fiore De Battaglia and Saviolo's Method for Sword and Rapier.  I am interested in classic sports cars, science fiction and fantasy, pistol shooting, self-defense, cooking and many other things; the nick-name 'Tinker' applies!
